Who this covers
This draft explains information handled when you visit ScholarshipIQ at scholarshipiq.online and use its public scholarship catalog or device-only application workspace. ScholarshipIQ is the product name; the responsible legal operator and business address must be confirmed before this policy is approved. Scholarship provider websites and other linked services are separate services with their own privacy practices.
Page-view analytics
When a page loads, the app sends a page-view event through its server to Teable's tracking endpoint. The event can contain the page route, the browser-provided referrer, viewport dimensions, browser language, navigation load time when available, and the app identifier. Your browser may limit referrer details. The app-generated analytics event does not include workspace profile answers, saved-application notes, draft text, or outcome values. The app does not send workspace values to ScholarshipIQ or Teable; no app request is made with those values. The hosting and tracking providers may also process technical request information, such as an IP address, user-agent, and request time, to deliver and protect the service. Teable's hosted-service Privacy Policy, last updated October 1, 2026, says server logs and database backups are kept for up to 30 days, but it gives no retention period for analytics events. Vercel's Privacy Notice describes log and IP processing but gives no fixed general retention period; its runtime-log periods vary by plan. Teable manages this app deployment, and its specific Vercel account, plan, and log settings have not been confirmed. The retention and access period for this app.page_view event therefore remains unknown. The app does not currently provide an analytics opt-out control.
Information stored on your device
The workspace does not require an account and stores its data in this browser's local storage on this device. Depending on what you enter, it can include state, school level, field of interest, GPA, SAT and ACT scores, athletics level, financial-need, first-generation, community-service, and veteran/military-family answers, saved scholarships, application stages, checklist progress, recommendation follow-up details, application notes, essay drafts, submission dates, and self-reported outcomes or award amounts. The app does not send these workspace values to its server or analytics event; they remain in this browser's local storage. Do not enter information you do not want other people with access to this browser or device to see. There is no account or cloud sync.
Backups, deletion, and retention
Workspace information stays in this browser until you delete it in the workspace, clear this site's browser storage, or the browser removes it. The export control starts a user-initiated JSON file download; importing begins only after you select a local file, and the file is read in this browser rather than uploaded. Deleting data here removes the app's local-storage workspace from this browser; it cannot erase browser, device, operating-system, or separately saved file backups. A backup export is readable and is not encrypted by ScholarshipIQ. You choose where it is saved and whether to share it. Importing a backup replaces the current workspace in this browser after confirmation. Page-view event retention and platform/server log retention have not been confirmed; do not assume a particular deletion period for those records.
Who receives information
Teable receives the app-generated page-view event described above. The hosting provider handles requests needed to serve the site and may process technical request data. If you follow a scholarship link, the provider of that external site receives your request and may collect information under its own terms. If you choose a correction link that opens your email app, the message is sent only if you send it; your email provider then handles it. ScholarshipIQ does not receive workspace data through these actions as described by the app code.
Your choices
You can browse without creating an account, choose not to use the local workspace, enter less information, delete workspace data from this browser, or export and manage a backup file yourself. You can use browser settings to limit referrer information, though doing so may affect other sites and does not disable the app's page-view event. There is no account-based access, cross-device sync, automatic reminder, or central outcome-reporting service currently open.
Children and families
The public catalog is available without an account. The device workspace can contain student-related information, so a parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use of a shared device and avoid entering sensitive details. Any ScholarshipIQ research or usability session involving a minor requires a separate, approved permission and assent process; using the site is not consent to participate in research.
Security and changes
Local-only storage avoids sending workspace contents to an app account, but it does not protect information from other people who can access your browser or device. No internet service or local storage method can be promised perfectly secure. This policy may be revised as the product changes; the approved policy should show its effective date and a summary of material changes.
