Agreement and scope
These draft terms describe use of ScholarshipIQ's public scholarship catalog and device-only workspace. If you do not agree with the terms after they are approved, do not use the service. The owner has selected Texas law as the proposed governing law for legal review, subject to rights that cannot legally be limited. The responsible business entity's exact legal name and public mailing address, any venue/dispute terms, and the effective date must be confirmed before approval.
Scholarship information
The catalog is a discovery aid, not a source of guaranteed or professional advice. Listings can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Provider requirements and current application instructions control. Check the provider's official page for deadlines, eligibility, amounts, required materials, availability, and submission instructions before acting.
Eligibility tools
Eligibility explanations compare only selected structured listing fields with information you choose to enter in this browser. “Meets” means only that the entered information matches a listed criterion; it is not a provider decision or guarantee of eligibility, selection, or an award. “Unknown” means the app lacks enough information to make that comparison. Unstructured criteria, exceptions, and provider decisions may not be reflected.
Workspace and your device
The workspace stores information in local browser storage without an account or cross-device sync. Anyone with access to the same browser profile or device may be able to view it. You are responsible for deciding what to enter, securing your device, and protecting any exported JSON backup. Exports are not encrypted by the app; importing replaces the current browser workspace after confirmation. Deleting workspace data removes the app's local-storage entry from that browser but does not promise secure erasure from backups or files.
External providers and applications
ScholarshipIQ does not award scholarships, decide eligibility, submit applications, or control provider websites. Application links lead to third-party services with separate terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for reviewing those terms, confirming the correct destination, meeting provider deadlines, and submitting directly to the provider. ScholarshipIQ does not currently provide accounts, cross-device sync, automatic reminders, or an open checkout. No payment is taken through this site.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass technical safeguards, or use it to transmit malicious code. Do not submit information about another person unless you have authority and a lawful reason to do so. The service is provided for personal scholarship discovery and planning, not as a substitute for provider instructions.
Availability and changes
Features may change, be unavailable, or be removed. ScholarshipIQ may update these terms as the service changes. The approved terms should identify their effective date and summarize material changes. Nothing in these draft terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
